Marie-Jeanne Handfield
Based in Montréal FR / EN Industrial Designer — MBA

I'm drawn to objects — how they're made, how they feel, why some work better than others. My instinct sits somewhere between designer and engineer: I'm just as comfortable sketching as I am pulling apart a technical constraint or costing a production run.

I like simple things that do exactly what they should. Getting there is usually anything but simple, and that's the part I genuinely enjoy. Complexity, tight briefs, problems nobody's solved yet — that's where I'm most useful.

I move with technology, I'm fast, and I've done this at scale. Over ten years I've worked across ice hockey equipment, AI-to-physical product development, and digital creation. Different industries, same approach: care about the details, build the right team, ship something worth making.
